Our Apartment

When I first saw our apartment, I was in awe. I was incredibly lucky and fortunate enough to be assigned to live in an apartment right in front of the Duomo. The apartment is so beautiful and historic. It is a very old apartment, and unfortunately there was no elevator. We were located on the top floor and had to walk five flights of stairs. I got my workout in everyday. There are painted murals and frescos of angels on the ceilings of our living room and in some of the bedrooms. I was placed with five other roommates and I shared a room with another UH Manoa student. There was an airbnb and another student apartment right downstairs from us. I also really loved our apartment because it is a central location, and took around six minutes to get to each class building. Our apartment was also special because we got free entertainment everyday. Right below us, musicians and artists would perform for the tourists, and we would get free a show.
